Kanye West and Taylor Swift haven’t had the best of relationships, but it looks like Ye may be ready to put all the beef behind, as he praises her on his Instagram. Not only that, but apparently Travis Kelce will get a shoutout on Vultures 2.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have stolen hearts across the globe, and now, it looks like Kanye West may have even been ‘converted’ into a Swiftie. Here’s what the rapper had to say about Swift and her fans.
Kanye West calls Taylor Swift an ‘inspiration’
Taking to his 19.5 million Instagram followers, the Touch the Sky rapper took a break from posting his wife Bianca. This time, he posted a tweet from a Taylor Swift fan account telling followers to stream Beyonce‘s new single, to block him from the top spot, seeing as he ‘dragged’ Taylor in his latest story.
The story in question, was a screenshot of a tweet showing he had “overtaken Taylor Swift as the top artist globally on Spotify.” However, the Cruel Summer singer then regained the title the next day.
But now, Ye has hit back, saying he wasn’t ‘dragging’ her at all. “WHEN I SAID THAT I’M THE NEW JESUS B**** I WASN’T EVEN THINKING ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT,” he wrote. “THAT WAS A WHOLE LINE BEFORE BUT I APPRECIATE THE FREE PROMO.”
He then goes on to mention that in fact, Lil Wayne mentions Travis Kelce in Vultures 2, and it’s not negative. “LIL WAYNE ACTUALLY MENTIONS TRAVIS KELCE ON VULTURES 2. THIS ALBUM IS ACTUALLY SUPER POSITIVE AND FUN IT’S ALL ABOUT TRIUMPHANT,” he said.
Halfway down the caption, he says he was “on Taylor’s side when Scooter bought her masters behind her back.”
“SHE AND BEYONCÉ ARE BIG INSPIRATIONS TO ALL MUSICIANS WE ALWAYS SAY HOW BOTH SELL OUT TOURS AND MOVIES. ALSO, I’M SURE I’VE BEEN FAR MORE HELPFUL TO TAYLOR SWIFT’S CAREER THAN HARMFUL,” Ye continued, before telling Swiftie’s he was “not their enemy,” but also is “not their friend.”
The 46-year-old then went on to deny claims Taylor Swift had him ‘kicked out’ of the Super Bowl.

Travis Kelce seen ‘vibing with Lil Wayne at 2023 ESPYs
Before ‘going public’ with Taylor Swift, Kelce and Lil Wayne had a wholesome moment at the ESPYs, so it’s no surprise he ‘raps about him in Vultures 2.’
Whilst performing his hit song A Milli at the 2023 ESPYs, in July, the Kansas City Chiefs star went viral as he rapped along with the rapper word for word.
As the video circulated around TikTok, Swifites were ‘begging’ their fave music star to give Travis a chance.
