Taylor Swift narrowly avoids falling off her chair in Eras Tour mishap caught on camera

Taylor Swift appeared to wobble on stage during her Eras Tour stint in Japan and narrowly avoided missing her chair whilst performing.

The celebrity has a jam-packed gig for fans whenever she gets on stage. Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour is a celebration of all her ‘eras’ and directions in music, and her choreographer revealed her chair number for the song Vigilante S**t was among her favorites. However, the music star narrowly avoided a tumble on stage when she appeared to miscalculate where she was supposed to sit while multitasking. But, like a pro, she styled it out. You go Tay-Tay.

Taylor Swift almost falls after missing her chair during Eras Tour choreography

In the short clip, posted to X (Twitter), we see her moving down, with her army of dancers behind her. As the music beat drops, she’s meant to slam down on the chair.

But, she goes to sit down, and you can see a small moment where she realizes the chair isn’t there, but Taylor Swift has performed this Eras Tour dance hundreds of times, so she quickly moves to position herself correctly.

It was during the song Vigilante S**t, from her 10th studio album, Midnights.

Considering both numbers focus on chairs, it must be to Taylor’s delight.

Her choreographer, Mandy Moore, revealed the singer’s favorite moves while competing on Dancing With The Stars.

She said: “Ooh, I mean, she has told me she really loves ‘Vigilante S**t,’ like, she really loves that one!

“And I think she really enjoys doing ‘Willow,’ the kind of witchy one. She really likes that one too.”

The 39-year-old added: “Something of that magnitude, you just hope that it’s going to be a match when you’re working with somebody, and it really was. I dig her music and I dig her and I love her vision.”

Fans come to her defense

The star has a lot on her plate, she sings 44 songs during the epic concert – something which meant new boyfriend Travis Kelce couldn’t speak to her last summer when he attended one of her gigs.

At the time, he revealed he had made a friendship bracelet with his cell number on to give to her. But, because she has to rest her voice before and after shows, she wasn’t up for meeting him. Luckily, she heard him call her out in one of his podcasts, and the rest is history.

But despite her mishap on stage, Swifties know she’s still got it.

One wrote: “Lmaooo that’s such a good angle. Glad she didn’t actually fall, so I can laugh at this in good conscience.”

A second added: “Her thighs probably so strong that she could sit like that without the chair for the whole song.”

Whereas a third replied: “Things happen, just a small thing, this is nothing to talk about!”
