In the case of Kate Moss' metallic sheer slip dress, Fleur du Mal is doing its own rendition of the '90s classic and has you covered (ish) for Resort 2017—but it happened by happy accident. "I wasn't planning to recreate this look to when we started the season. I fell in love with the fabric first, and while thinking about what to do with it, the Kate image popped into my mind—then I knew, let's make a slip dress!," founder Jennifer Zuccarini explains.

The silvery thread has all the elements of the glory days of the minimal aughts. "I think we all love to glamorize the era of the 90s Supermodel. To me this image represents that dreamy, decadent lifestyle when you're so young, and so beautiful, and the whole world is your playground. The fact that Kate wore a sheer slip out is like saying,'I'm going to do what I want and I don't really care what you think about it—that's what I love about Kate Moss.'

If you're not entirely of the "free the nipple" movement, Zuccarini has more bashful babes in mind. "We're making this with a detachable slip, so you could wear this anywhere as a dress... but I'd love to wear it over a bikini at a chic, nighttime pool party somewhere amazing."
