Julia Fox Wore Her Underwear on the Outside of Her Ruffly White Pants

August 2024 · 2 minute read

If there's one person who never, ever follows fashion rules, it is Julia Fox. Dresses made of condoms? Yes. White after Labor Day? She just did that today. Wearing an entire silverware drawer? You guessed it. She's been there and done that. About that all-white 'fit that hit the streets today? Fox wore a super-ruffly combination of white pantaloons, an off-the-shoulder top with a tie detail, sheer white gloves, and white underwear that she put on over her pants. It made for a tuffet-ready ensemble that she wore to an appearance on the Sherri Show.

Fox finished her look with a sweet heart-shaped bag and a pair of over-the-top white platforms with dozens of buckles that had her towering over just about everybody around her. She wore her red hair in a deep side part and styled with Old Hollywood waves.

As Fox promoted her new book, Down the Drain, she opened up about her past drug use and a subsequent near-death experience that she had when she overdosed.

"I always go back to that one instance of seeing that light and feeling so warm — almost too warm — and I just knew that I wasn't gonna come back if I went to that place," she said during an appearance on The View. "In a way, that happening really restored my faith."

She also mentioned it speaking to both the Los Angeles Times and Rolling Stone, telling the publications that she is taking Suboxone, a drug used to treat opioid addiction. She noted that the medication "saved my life, for sure."
