Things take a sinister turn on Home and Away when Xander and his work partner are ambushed by a group of thugs looking for drugs in the ambulance.
Xander is taken to hospital with serious injuries and Rose is forced to tell him that his partner died at the scene.
Rose makes it her mission to get justice for Xander and his partner and stops at nothing to get to the bottom of things.

Hearing the news of Xander’s hospitalisation, Mali rushes to support Rose but it soon becomes clear that the new couple have very different approaches to supporting their loved ones.
As Rose continues her mission to catch Xander’s attackers, Mali sits by Xander’s bedside in the ICU and is left wondering how Rose could abandon her brother in hospital.

Realising Cash doesn’t remember the night’s events, Eden plays a prank on him and pretends that he proposed last night.
Reluctant to crush Eden’s spirits, Cash plays along with the engagement.
When Eden reveals it was all a prank, Cash doesn’t see the funny side.
Cash is frantic when Eden can’t get the ring off her finger and leaves her wondering why her boyfriend is so against the idea of being engaged to her.
Eden is gutted by Cash's reaction and starts to believe she is the type of woman a man wouldn't want to marry.
But proving otherwise, Cash gifts Eden a charm bracelet with a treble clef and discards the engagement ring he originally bought for Jasmine.
Meanwhile, Remi is determined to support Bree through her post-abortion recovery and stays at the hospital.
Bree refuses to leave until Xander is given the all-clear, but his post-surgical recovery doesn't run smoothly.
Disoriented and confused, Xander lashes out and kicks Bree in the stomach.
Later, after admitting her desire to be with Remi, Bree asks if they can take it slow.
Across the bay, Leah begs Justin to take his legal fight seriously and finds him the best lawyer in the business.
But the laywer reveals Justin's chances aren't looking good and Justin prepares to tell Ava that he could be going to prison.
Wanting to shield his daughter from witnessing his conviction, Justin asks Ava to move back to her mum’s house.
Gutted that her dad wants to send her away, Ava refuses to leave and admits she can't lose her dad again.
Theo also fears losing Justin and resolves to make amends with Ava.
As they resolve their issues for the sake of the family, Ava admits that she’s jealous of the close relationship that Justin and Theo share.
Leah is the one who finally gets through to Ava, making her see that Justin needs to focus on his legal fight.
After Leah explains that Justin will be distracted if she is in the courtroom, Ava agrees to move back to her mum’s house.
The pair share a heartfelt goodbye as Justin holds back the tears.
Elsewhere, John and Marilyn are bursting with pride when they learn their son, Jett, is engaged.
Wanting the best for their boy, John offers to pay for the wedding but leaves Marilyn feeling pressured to contribute too.
She comes up with a solution to make quick cash and decides to sell skin care products.
Marilyn is glowing with enthusiasm about her new role as a ‘brand ambassador’ for skincare company, Stunning Organics.
Refusing to consider Roo’s healthy scepticism about the company, Marilyn is pure optimism as this is her way to make quick money to fund Jett’s wedding.
But Marilyn hits a bump in the road when it becomes clear she has no idea about modern online marketing.
Her attempts to make a marketing video fail, but Kirby saves the day and agrees to help with her social media.
