Guy Fieriwon't leave multi-million dollar fortune to sons unless they honor his demands

Guy Fieri has made millions over the years as a highly successful restaurateur, author, and Award-winning television presenter, however, his sons aren’t getting an easy ride when it comes to his fortune.

In the era of ‘nepo babies’ it looks like the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host is making sure he’s no part of it, as his sons must work to be added onto his will. The TV host has two sons, Hunter and Ryder, however, he says he doesn’t plan on leaving them any of his multi-million dollar fortune unless they honor one strict rules.

Guy Fieri’s son must get two degrees to inherit fortune

The 55-year-old celebrity chef recently appeared on Fox News and revealed he was taking after former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal when it came to his sons and his fortune.

“Shaq said it best: Shaq said, ‘If you want this cheese, you got to get to two degrees,'” he said. “Well, my two degrees mean, you know, postgraduate.”

“I’ve told them the same thing my dad told me. My dad says, ‘When I die, you can expect that I’m going to die broke, and you’re going to be paying for the funeral.’” Guy continued.

However, we’re not sure how likely the star is to ‘die broke’ as he’s said to have signed a new $100 Million Multiyear Deal with Food Network, according to Variety. He’s also said to have a net worth of $100 Million, Celebrity Net Worth reports.

His youngest son Ryder doesn’t seem too fond of the deal just yet, though, calling it ‘so unfair’.

“‘Dad, this is so unfair. I haven’t even gone to college yet, and you’re already pushing that I’ve got to get an MBA? Can I just get through college?’” he asked.

As well as his two sons, The Food Network host also has his nephew, Jules, who he has helped raise since his sister Morgan passed away in 2011. He’s currently in the music industry in LA and “in the law program at Loyola Marymount right now,” Guy shared.

His eldest son, Hunter, 27, is in an MBA program at the University of Miami for his master’s degree in business, so it looks like they’re all heading in the right direction!

Guy’s eldest recently got engaged

Taking to his Instagram three weeks ago, the 55-year-old revealed his eldest son had popped the question to his girlfriend, Tara.

He posted a snap of the two celebrating with a glass of bubbles, as Tara proudly showed off her ring.

In the caption, the proud dad penned: “Congrats to @hunterfieri and @taralynn.nyc
You two are made for each other
Welcome to the family, Tara.”

Replying to his dad’s post, Hunter wrote: “Love you so much dad!”
