In her new memoir, Britney Spears is set to make a number of revelations about her life, including her 13-year conservatorship and ex-boyfriend of three years, Justin Timberlake. It has been alleged he broke up with her over text while she was on set, with just two words – “It’s over!!!”. It’s been said she was so devastated she didn’t know if she could continue filming the video at all.

On the eve of Britney’s memoir release date, which will be read by a Hollywood star for an audio version, followers are living for the drama. Pre-release excerpts have been teased in the lead up to the big day when fans can buy it for themselves.
Britney Spears has made it clear that Justin Timberlake will feature in her tell-all autobiography. She alleged that during the time they were dating, the pair had an abortion after she fell pregnant. So far, Justin himself has not responded to any of the claims.
After the recent news came to light, fans of the pop princess were quick to look back at the video and give their verdicts. They can see a clear message in the remix version of the track, and say Britney brought it.

The music video’s director already spoke out
Chris Applebaum, who directed the video for Overprotected, already delivered the bombshell claiming Britney Spears was dumped by Justin Timberlake by text. He took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself with the star last year. He penned the story of the supposed break-up text in the caption.
“At some point during the 2nd shift Brit disappeared and I went to her trailer to fetch her…only to discover her BF Justin had just broken up with her via text message. (Let me recommend to any who reads this: don’t break up via text!),” he wrote.
“We sat on the floor of her trailer for a minute, talked it out, and then rallied. I told her she should get out there & show Justin he made the biggest mistake of his life. That was just one of the stories from this shoot…”
Britney reveals why she shaved her head
As People reported, the music star talks about the incident in 2007 in her book. It’s one of the most covered incidents of Britney, where she shaved off her hair. Now, almost 20 years later, she explains that it was her way of “pushing back.”
She writes: “I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body since I was a teenager.
“Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.”
